BREAKING: Woman from Assam’s Biswanath Chariali who went missing in Prayagraj found
GUWAHATI, Jan 31: A woman from Assam’s Biswanath Chariali who went missing at Prayagraj on Wednesday after she and other members of her family travelled to have a holy dip at river Ganga during the ongoing Maha Kumbh has been found.
Manju Devi Agarwal, the missing woman, was found at Prayagraj railway station, her youngest son told News Live from Biswanath.
The woman had left for Prayagraj with her family members on Monday (Jan 27) and reached the holy town on Wednesday.
The entire family had went to the Ganga river banks to have a holy bath on Wednesday afternoon when the woman’s granddaughter first went missing.
The entire family began a search for the missing girl and were reunited with her but the woman, who was told to sit at a particular place near the river bank as others began a search for the missing girl, could not be found there when the others returned.
Family members of the woman said she was taken care of by members of the Aghori Akhada before she met an Army trooper from Assam who had heard about the her going missing after watching a report on News Live’s digital pages and contacted the family from the numbers we had flashed in the news report.
Family members of Manju Agarwal expressed their gratitude to News Live and everyone else for their efforts in reuniting her with them.
Meanwhile, efforts are underway to reunite the other missing woman named Lila Devi from Doomdooma who is also missing from Prayagraj.
