Big Breaking: Man who attacked actor Saif Ali Khan arrested, police to seek 10-day custody
GUWAHATI, Jan 17: Mumbai Police have finally arrested the person who had stabbed actor Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra home.
The arrested person, reports stated, has been brough to Bandra Police Station for questioning and Mumbai Police will present him in court and is likely to seek 10 days custody.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police had earlier said that the suspect was last seen near the Bandra Railway Station after he reportedly took a local train and headed towards Vasai Virar.
Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times by the intruder after a failed robbery bid at his home in Bandra, Mumbai, following which the actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he was operated upon by a team of doctors.
Mumbai Police said the incident took place around 2:30 am Thursday and suspected that the attacker might have been present inside the actor’s house.
Doctors of the hospital said the actor is currently out of danger.
Other members of Saif Ali Khan’s family, including wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, and sons Taimur and Jeh, are safe, a statement issued by his team stated.
“Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident.
