Pakistan: Four soldiers killed, five injured in explosion at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province
GUWAHATI, Nov 8: Four security personnel were killed and five others were injured after a bomb went off near a vehicle carrying security personnel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, reports said.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), also known as Pakistan Taliban, is believed to be behind the attack although no group has officially taken responsibility for the attack.
Pakistan’s military in a statement on Thursday confirmed the “martyrdom” of four officers, but said security forces also responded to the attack and killed five “Khwarij”, a term used by the military for the Pakistan Taliban, Aljazeera reported.
