Assam: Unruly crowd creates ruckus at Zubeen Garg musical night at Morigaon
GUWAHATI, Oct 16: A section of the audience created a ruckus at Zubeen Garg’s musical night at Morigaon, throwing and breaking chairs forcing securitymen to resort to a mild baton-charge to bring things under control.
Zubeen was invited to perform on the occasion of the Morigaon District Day celebrations.
The heartthrob singer was into his performance when a section of the crowd, mostly comprising youth and young men – many of them inebriated — started creating an unruly environment and threw chairs here and there.
A posse of security personnel deployed to control the crowd had to resort to a mild baton-charge to bring the situation under control.
