Assam: AHSEC declares HS Results 2024, here’s how to check
The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) declared the results for the Class 12 examinations on May 9th, at 9 AM with 2,42,794 students passing the examination.
This year, the education landscape witnessed a notable shift with the implementation of the New Education Policy (NEP), which ushered in changes including the discontinuation of the tradition of announcing individual toppers.
Candidates can check their results at ahsec.assam.gov.in, and resultsassam.nic.in by entering their roll number on the login window.
Meanwhile, Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu shared a list of 14 websites where students will be able to check their HS results for the final year examination of 2024.

This year, the HS exams were conducted from February 12 to March 13, 2024. A total of 273908 students appeared for the HS exam of which 242794 students have passed.
This year’s pass rate for the Assam board Class 12 Exam is 88.64 per cent. The Science stream recorded a pass rate of 90.29 per cent, while the Arts and Commerce streams recorded pass rates of 88.24 per cent and 88.28 per cent, respectively.
This year’s Assam Board Class 12 Exam had participation from 273,908 pupils in total. Male students made up 139,486 of them, and female students made up 142,732. 206,467 students from the Arts stream, 17,582 students from the Commerce stream, and 54,287 students from the Science stream took the test.
