Results of HSLC Exam 2024 declared, Anurag Doloi from Jorhat’s Pragya Academy grabs 1st position
GUWAHATI, April 20: The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) today declared the results of the HSLC Exams 2024 with Anurag Doloi from Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School, Jorhat, topping the examination securing 593 marks.
Although the system of declaring position holders was reportedly said to have been done away with, SEBA, however, declared the names of the top three position holders. Five students grabbed the top-three positions in this year’s results.
Jharna Saikia from Shankardev Sishu Vidya Niketan, Biswanath Chariali, secured the second position with 590 marks. Three students – Manash Saikia from Island Academy, Kamalabari, Majuli; Bedanta Choudhury from Stella Maris School, Sarupeta; and Devashree Kashyap from Ramanujan Senior Secondary School, Nagaon – shared the third rank with 588 marks.
The overall pass percentage stood at 75.7 per cent this year.
Boys outperformed girls with 77.30 per cent while 74.40 per cent of the girls appearing in the examination passed the examination.
