ICC World Cup 2023: India restrict Australia to 199 all out
Indian bowlers were on song against the Australian batters in the ICC World Cup 2023 match in Chennai. The Pat Cummins-led team was not allowed to score freely, and they couldn’t put up a challenging total on a slow track. They were bowled out for 199 runs.
Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey while conceding just 28 runs in 10 overs.
Kuldeep Yadav got rid of David Warner and Glenn Maxwell with only 42 runs coming from his 60 balls. Jasprit Bumrah was on target, dismissing Mitchell Marsh and Pat Cummins. He gave away 35 runs from 10 overs.
For Australia, Steve Smith (46) and Warner (41) were the top contributors with the bat.
