Assam Govt employee arrested under bribery charges in Rangia
The sleuths of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on Thursday arrested one government employee, identified as Jyotirmoy Baruah on bribery charges from Rangia, Assam.
The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption cell laid a trap for Baruah and caught him red-handed after he accepted demanded money from the complainant on September 21.
According to initial information, Baruah, demanded a bribe from the complainant for helping to get her relative selected as Anganwadi worker.
Jyotirmoy Baruah was employed as a Junior Assistant to the Nagrijuli ICDS project in Tamulpur.
