Naval Lt Commander meets Governor of Assam
Lieutenant Commander Debanand Doley, Officer Commanding 48 Assam Naval Unit NCC, had the privilege of meeting the Honourable Governor of Assam to provide an overview of the various activities conducted by the naval wing NCC in Assam.
The meeting also included a briefing on the upcoming 10-day long Sailing Expedition on River Brahmaputra, scheduled to take place in the first week of November.
The Officer highlighted the significant initiatives undertaken by the 48 Assam Naval Unit NCC. These initiatives include numerous drills, training sessions, camps, and community service projects that have been successfully organized by the unit over the years.
The Honourable Governor of Assam, being an ex-NCC cadet himself, exhibited great interest in the activities of the naval wing NCC and commended the unit for its remarkable work in shaping young minds towards nation-building.
