Guwahati to get one more flyover, India’s second-longest flyover from RBI point to Noonmati
Guwahati – the capital city of Assam – is all set to get one more flyover.
A 5.5-km four-lane flyover will be constructed in Guwahati from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) point to Noonmati, FCI Godown. For the construction of this flyover, the Cabinet today approved Rs 852 crore. The tendering process for this project has already started.
The new flyover will connect Noonmati with Dighalipukhuri in Guwahati city of Assam.
This decision of constructing a new flyover in Guwahati was announced after a meeting of the Assam cabinet at Jorhat.
The Noonmati-Dighalipukhuri flyover in Guwahati will be the second-longest flyover in the country.
The Noonmati-Dighalipukhuri flyover in Guwahati will also have a two-lane extended arm towards Rajarh road.
