3.5 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Guwahati

An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale hit Guwahati on Thursday afternoon, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
The earthquake occurred at around 12.27 pm and the depth of the tremor was 10km.

According to NCS, the epicentre of the quake was 62km northeast of Guwahati.
No casualties have been reported.
