The Guwahati police on Wednesday announced a cash reward of Rs 2 lakh for information that can lead to the arrest of the murderers of Ranjit Bora, who was shot dead on November 21 at Panjabari.
Taking to Twitter, the official account of Guwahati police wrote, “Guwahati Police announces a ₹ 2 lakh reward for information that can lead to the arrest of the murderers of Ranjit Bora, who was shot dead on November 21 at Panjabari.”
“Information can be shared on WhatsApp 6026901247. The informant’s identify will be kept secret”, Guwahati police added.

Distributor of Purabi Dairy – Ranjit Bora succumbed to the bullet injuries that he sustained after being shot at by miscreants in Guwahati, Assam. The incident which took place in daylight at around 12:10 PM on November 21 terrified the residents of the area.
