Assam CM inaugurates scooty distribution scheme for 35,800 meritious HS passouts
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday inaugurated the distribution ceremony of scooters, numbering 35,800 among meritorious students under Pragyan Bharati Scheme.
CM Sarma gave away the scooters to the meritorious boys & girls of Kamrup & Kamrup (Metro) who scored 75%+ & 60%+ respectively in the last higher secondary examinations conducted by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council under Dr. Banikanta Kakati Merit Award.
The awards were distributed among 6,052 boys and 29,748 girls.
Taking to Twitter CM Sarma wrote, “Today, distributed scooters to meritorious boys & girls of Kamrup & Kamrup (Metro) who scored 75%+ & 60%+ respectively in the last higher secondary examinations conducted by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council under Dr Banikanta Kakati Merit Award.
