Independence Day 2022: PM Modi hoists national flag, addresses nation from Red Fort
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hoisted the national flag and delivered the customary address to the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort in New Delhi on the occasion of 76th Independence Day. Prior to that, he inspected the Guard of Honour which was positioned directly in front of the National Flag across the moat below the ramparts.
PM Modi hoisted the national flag wearing a traditional white kurta and churidar paired with a blue jacket and black shoes. Last year, he wore a saffron turban with red patterns and a long pink trail.

“I urge the youth to dedicate the next 25 years of their lives to the development of the nation. We will work towards even the development of the entire humanity. That is the strength of India,” PM Modi said.
