Shiva Thapa loses pre-quarter final bout, bows out of #CWG2022

GUWAHATI, July 31: Pugilist Shiva Thapa was knocked out of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 after he lost his pre-quarter final bout to Scottish opponent Reece Lynch in the Men’s Light Welterweight category.
The boxer lost 4-0 as the judges’ decision went in favour of his Scottish opponent.
With this defeat, the Assam boxer bowed out of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
