Assam: CM Sarma visits MLA Shashikant Das’s residence at Raha

Guwahati:  Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday visited MLA Shashikant Das’s residence at Raha.

CM Sarma was accompanied by Cabinet Minister Piyush Hazarika and several BJP leaders.

Taking to Twitter CM Sarma wrote, “Met Hon’ble MLA of Raha Shri Sashikanta Das at his Dimou Chariali residence this morning. Reviewed developmental activities in the area and discussed ways to accelerate them further.”

After attending a tea party at the MLA’s residence, the Chief Minister will pay a visit to Rahar Jongal Balhu Garh. The Chief Minister is also likely to provide government assistance for the development of Jongal Balhu Garh. It may be mentioned here that Rahi MLA Shashi Dasak, who had earlier announced that he would stay with the government in the interest of development
