Assam Police Recruitment 2022
State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of 705 posts of Constable (UB) and 1429 posts of Constable (AB) in Assam Police. The application process for this recruitment will be online based and eligible and interested candidates will have to submit their online applications on the official website of SLRBP.

Other Details of Assam Police Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st July 2021.
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be as mentioned below.

Note: The date of birth accepted by the SLPRB will be as per matriculation or an equivalent examination certificate issued by government recognized board. Nationality: Candidate must be Indian citizen of India and Permanent Resident of Assam.

Selection Process of Police Recruitment
The State Level Police Recruitment Board will start the selection process in three phases to complete the recruitment process of Constable (AB/UB) in Assam Police. The details of these three phased selection process are given below.
PST/ PET

Race (Running)
Candidates whose applications will be accepted and they will qualify in Physical Standard Test will have to appear in Physical Efficiency Test as the next stage. In this PET stage candidates have to race for their merit in the next stage. The race details are given below.

Chin Up (Only Male and AB)
Male candidates who have submitted their online application for Armed Branch Constable of Assam Police will have to clear the required chip-up to clear the Physical Efficiency Test. Note that this exam will be conducted only for male candidates who will submit the application for AB constable. Written Test
The State Level Police Recruitment Board will prepare a merit list based on the performance of the candidates in the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test. On the basis of PST/PET, SLPRB will issue admit card for written test and shortlisted candidates will have to appear in that test as second stage of recruitment process.
